Nestled in the shadow of the Rock of Cashel, Donoghue’s has long been a favourite for locals and visitors alike — a place where pints are perfectly poured, music fills the air, and strangers leave as friends. Whether you're after a quiet pint by the stove or a lively evening of traditional Irish Music, you’ll find it here.

Open Monday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday. Doors open at 6pm, earlier on Saturday at 12pm. Traditional Irish Music on Mondays, with live music on most other nights, generally kicking off around 8pm. All welcome.

Join us at Donoghue’s & The Secret Garden for a series of summer evenings filled with food, drinks and live music.

Each ticket includes a welcome drink, food and live music, making it the perfect way to enjoy long summer evenings with friends. Entry is through Donoghue’s, with tickets priced at €45.

John Colleary is an in-demand Irish stand-up comedian, actor, and writer, best known for his co-writing and acting roles in the IFTA-nominated RTÉ satire shows The Savage Eye and Irish Pictorial Weekly. Hailing from Sligo, he is a highly acclaimed mimic and stand-up who has performed as the main support act for Tommy Tiernan and featured as one third of "The Gusset Brothers" on The Tommy Tiernan Show
